How Wood School has an active PTA which is also a registered charity.  We raise funds to provide a variety of benefits for the children to enjoy at school.

Over the years, the PTA has organised and funded many events along with providing additional equipment for the school.

Not only have we been able to provide Christmas presents from Santa, Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny, Halloween Discos to name a few, but we have also been able to raise enough money to develop and fund the new additions to computer and playground equipment.

Your ongoing support, whether this is getting involved or just turning up and spending money at organised events – is vital and it all helps!

As our Year 6’s leave, so do their parents, which is why we need new parents with new and exciting ideas!  If you have any hobbies, work in a company who do charity days and donations etc we are keen to know.

We hold friendly, informal generally monthly meetings, and our annual autumnal AGM is held at the school – to discuss events, fundraising opportunities and where to spend our money!

To help keep you informed of events the PTA has a Facebook page – Simply like/follow the page if you want to see what’s happening.  Each school year also has a What’s App group where we often ask for a representative from each Year to post out messages.  If you are interested in being our rep – get in touch!

You can easily support your PTA by using our Easy Fundraising page/app when you shop online.
